Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo is now officially engaged to his long-term partner, Georgina Rodríguez. The couple made it official after posting a picture of the ring on social media.
The huge diamond has caught people’s attention, as Georgina wrote with the photo, “Yes I do. In this and in all my lives” in her native Spanish.
No further details have been shared so far by the Portuguese footballer or his fiancée. Ronaldo, who is also the most followed person on Instagram, hasn’t made any comment so far. But that didn’t stop the fans from speculating and showering the couple with congratulations.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez started dating in 2016. Ronaldo met Georgina at a Gucci shop in Madrid where she was working. Ronaldo was playing for the Spanish club Real Madrid back then. Currently, the couple share a blended family with five children, two of whom are the biological children of both Ronaldo and Georgina.
In her Netflix show, I Am Georgina, the 31-year-old has previously addressed speculation about her relationship status with Cristiano Ronaldo and engagement. She mentioned that her friends were “always joking about the wedding.”
