Priyanka Chopra Jonas in Ralph Lauren
Our global desi girl is officially an international fashion icon and she proves it again and again. This look, in particular, gagged us. Attending the Ralph Lauren SS26 show at New York Fashion Week, Priyanka wore the brand’s FW25 look 18, but skipped the shirt. The paisley printed shoulder-padded blazer and prairie skirt were clinched at the waist with a thick brown belt. And the hair and makeup? Win of the year!
Alia Bhatt’s Bohemian Bandana
Alia Bhatt set the benchmark for bridesmaid looks this year, quite literally. For her friend Tanya Saha’s wedding, she served effortless chic looks for all the events. But this boho look in particular is the wedding fashion moment of the year. The custom bandhani lehenga by Arpita Mehta is as playful as sophisticated. The bandana, the glasses and the potli bag tie up the ensemble perfectly.
Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Leopard Print
Animal print was huge this year, and this one is probably the most talked-about one. Kareena Kapoor Khan channelled modern regal glam in the leopard print Sabyasachi saree. The lightweight chiffon fabric falls perfectly on her, especially the cape over her shoulders. The statement kundan necklace with emeralds creates just the right balance.Â

The fashionista knocked it out of the park in this custom Anamika Khanna look, attending the designer’s London Fashion Week debut with AK|OK. A long-line embroidered jacket with handcrafted embroidery all over, with a crisp white shirt underneath whose cape-style sleeve falls over from one side. Do we need to say more?
Ishaan Khatter at Cannes
While our women were dominating the global stage, our men were not behind at all. Ishaan Khatter had a summer of film festivals with his Oscar-shortlisted film Homebound. Styled by Alexander Roth, this look at Cannes was a sight to behold. Ishaan looked dapper in the Giorgio Armani suit, especially with the loose fit and the low-cut white shirt. And the glasses know what they are doing all right.

Ananya Panday in Orange Banarasi
Ananya Panday has established herself as quite a fashionista in recent years, and 2025 was one of the best for the star. This orange Banarasi brocade saree by Swadesh, in collaboration with Manish Malhotra, makes her look one of the best fashion moments of the year. The hand-embroidered zardozi details on the blouse and signature chandbalis add to the elegance and simplicity.
Janhvi Kapoor at the Toronto Film Festival
Like Ananya, Janhvi Kapoor too had quite a lot of appearances this year with multiple movie releases, including the international film festivals for Homebound. This particular look by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla takes the cake for being one of the best looks in fusion fashion this year. Paying homage to the Kashmiri heritage, the saree featured jamawar pattern embroidery.
Deepika Padukone in Louis Vuitton
Deepika Padukone brought back fringe and metal, creating one of the best fashion moments of 2025. The global brand ambassador of Louis Vuitton wore an oversized shirt with a moody, abstract print and a skirt trimmed with panels of sequin tassels. The boxy leather bag and pointed black stilettos finished the edgy look. The new mommy’s beauty game was strong as always, with a high bun and light smoky eyes.
Diljit Dosanjh’s Met Gala Debut
This year’s Met Gala was a prominent year for Indian stars. Making his debut, Diljit Dosanjh channelled Punjabi Royalty in his look. The ivory and gold Prabal Gurung sherwani was paired with a tehmat and a sweeping cape embroidered with a silhouetted map of Punjab. Jewel-studded turban and a layered diamond necklace emulating the Maharaja Bhupinder Singh’s iconic Patiala necklace finished his look.
