The 82nd edition of the Golden Globes Awards, honouring the best of film and television entertainment, was held on January 5th, 2025, at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California. The event was graced by eminent faces from the film and television industry, all ready to enjoy a night honouring their hard work and determination.
In the film category, ‘The Brutalist’ which was nominated for seven categories took home some of the major titles of the night including Best Actor in a Drama, Best Director and Best Drama. While Selena Gomez starring ‘Emilia Pérez’ was the most nominated film of the night with 10 nominations in its pocket, it took four awards including Best Non-English Language Motion Picture, Best Musical or Comedy, Best Supporting Actress and Best Original Song.
In the television category, ‘Shōgun’ won all four awards it was nominated for, whereas ‘The Bear’ took home five awards with Jeremy Allen White winning Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Series. The Indian motion picture ‘All We Imagine as Light’ by Payal Kapadia was nominated in two categories at the Golden Globes 2025 namely, Non-English Language Motion Picture and Best Director. While the globally popular movie was rooted for by a lot of personalities and movie aficionados it lost to ‘Emilia Pérez’ in the first category and director Brady Corbet in the second.

Selena Gomez
Rare is truly what Selena Gomez’s style at the Golden Globes 2025 would be defined as. The ‘Emilia Pérez’ actress brought in the Old Hollywood charm on the red carpet in an icy-blue off-the-shoulder Prada gown. Along with her diamond engagement ring, she wore a necklace and earrings from Tiffany & Co’s Blue Book Collection.

Dakota Fanning
A splash of bold red on the red carpet served as a major colour theme this year. However, our favourite red ensemble was adorned by actress Dakota Fanning who wore a gown by Atelier Versace. The draped dress featured a thigh-high slit, flowing fabric and a scarf-like detail that transitioned into a long train.
Zendaya
Many of us wish she could be our MJ, though we adore her with Tom Holland too! Zendaya, as she does every time, understood the assignment and slayed on the red carpet in a custom Louis Vuitton gown that as per Law Roach was an ode to the designs of Zelda Wynn Valdes, an African-American costume designer, and Joyce Bryant, a nightclub singer of the 1940s. The ‘Dune: Part Two’ actress accessorised the citrus sating piece with a Bulgari necklace.
Adam Brody
Everybody wants him, even though he’s married to one of the most iconic women in Hollywood, Leighton Meester. ‘Nobody Wants This’ actor Adam Brody attended the Golden Globes 2025 in a dark green double-breasted tuxedo from Prada. The actor styled the tux with a white poplin shirt, black silk bowtie, and black brushed leather lace-up shoes also from the brand. He was accompanied by his wife who sparkled in a lemon-lime-hued Versace gown.
Anya Taylor Joy
‘Furiosa’ actress Anya Taylor Joy is finally back to embracing her softer side! After a series of punk-inspired looks for ‘Furiosa’ the actress looked ethereal in a blush pink dress, a coordinated fringe shawl and a floral 64-carat necklace from Tiffany & Co.
