Making her showstopper debut, birthday girl Aneet Padda shines at Lakme Fashion Week for designer Tarun Tahiliani.
Actress Aneet Padda looked magical as she made her debut as a showstopper at the Lakme Fashion Week 2025 last night. For the closing show of the 5-day-long event, designer Tarun Tahiliani presented his collection “Bejeweled,” featuring the young actress as his muse. The birthday girl is turning 23 tomorrow on 14th October, and she shone in a dreamy bejewelled outfit as she walked the ramp.
The showstopping look was a signature TT concept saree. The Saiyaara star wore a golden sequin drape—a saree draped around an embellished corset. According to the designer, the look was “crafted in metallic sequins that lend an ethereal texture and fluid movement, it is delicately embellished with Swarovski crystals — a seamless blend of Indian artistry and contemporary glamour.”
For the rest of the look, she kept her hair long and wavy, parted from the middle to frame her face. The crystal earrings and cuffs added to the glamour without stealing the thunder from the dress. Her makeup was kept true to her aesthetic—light shimmery eyes with flushed cheeks and glossy nude lips.
Speaking about his collection, the designer said, “For me, being bejewelled has never just been about wearing ornaments. It is about the light that comes from within and how that light is translated to Indian sensuality in clothing. With this collection, I wanted to celebrate that spirit and each silhouette is reflective of it – luminous, layered and wearable. Just like Lakme Be-Jewel.”
