The fourth edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival (RSIFF) will be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from December 5th to 12th, 2024. With ‘The New Home of Film’ as the theme, the festival will bring actors and filmmakers from around the world under one roof to honour cinema and put a spotlight on its future. Over the course of eight days, the festival will host honorary awards, conversation panels, and film screenings.
A number of Bollywood celebrities made stunning and viral appearances at the film festival to receive awards and share their knowledge and love for their craft with the conversation panels. Check out if your favourite Bollywood celebrities made it to the esteemed global festival, below!
Aamir Khan
The Red Sea Film Festival kickstarted by honouring Aamir Khan for making an impact on the global film industry. Only Murders in the Building actress Eva Longoria awarded the actor and mentioned that his work in ‘Lagaan’ and ‘3 Idiots’ has impacted her personally. He was also a part of the ‘In Conversation With’ panel and shared anecdotes about his reluctance to work in Lagaan and how its success taught him the power of taking risks.
Kareena Kapoor Khan
This year, 5 Bollywood celebrities had been invited to the Red Sea Film Festival to be a part of the ‘In Conversation With’ panels. Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan conducted her own panel and talked about how she loves acting and it feels like oxygen as it comes naturally to her.

Shraddha Kapoor
‘Stree 2’ actress Shraddha Kapoor also had her own conversation panel which she attended in a vibrant pink saree. The actress has been trending all over social media for her meet and greet with actor Andrew Garfield at the screening of ‘We Live in Time’. The two celebrities posed together on the red carpet, leading to the viral hashtag of ‘Spider-Man meets Stree’. Shraddha adorned a sparkling Falguni Shane Peacock gown from their recent collection ‘Rang Mahal’ showcased at the India Couture Week 2024.
Ranbir Kapoor
Ranbir Kapoor made a dashing appearance at the Red Sea Film Festival for the second time. The actor talked about how when you truly love something and have a burning for it inside you, destiny chooses it for you. He looked uber cool in an olive green three-piece suit paired with a classic white shirt. Additionally, he also made waves on social media for posing on the red carpet alongside actor-director Olivia Wilde. This time he looked regal in a bold red bandhgala jacket paired with black trousers and glasses.
Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar
This celebrity couple twinned on the red carpet of the Red Sea Film Festival in glamorous black ensembles. They attended the screening of the Indian film ‘Superboys of Malegaon’, directed by Reema Kagti and produced by Excel Entertainment, co-founded by Farhan. The power forces behind the film posed on the red carpet with smiling faces with Farhan mentioning how proud he is to screen the film at such a prestigious festival.

Additionally, ‘Santosh’ by Indian-British filmmaker Sandhya Suri, ‘Nails’ by Triparna Banerjee, ‘I’ll Smile in September’ by Akash Chhabra will also be screened at the festival.
