Anshula Kapoor and Rohan Thakkar
Let’s start with the latest celebrity engagement in the town. Anshula Kapoor, daughter of film producer Boney Kapoor, got engaged to her long-time boyfriend Rohan Thakkar just a week ago. Anshula and Rohan met each other on a dating app and dated for three years before saying “yes”.
In a heartfelt post, Anshula wrote, “We started talking on a Tuesday at 1.15 am and ended up talking for hours. Three years later, in my favourite city, in front of the castle in Central Park, he proposed!”
Anshula recently did The Traitors, the hit reality show on Amazon Prime and days later she announced her engagement on social media. Her brother Arjun Kapoor, sisters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor expressed their happiness for the couple.

Zendaya and Tom Holland
From the most recent one to the biggest one. The celebrity engagement news that broke the internet this year is undoubtedly of Hollywood’s favourite Zendaya and Tom Holland. Even though none of the actors have made a formal announcement of their engagement, sources have confirmed and fans all over are elated to hear the news.
Speculation started when Zendaya appeared at this year’s Met Gala wearing a burnt orange Louis Vuitton gown and a very notable diamond ring on her ring finger. According to sources, the engagement was nothing extravagant. It was rather simple and intimate.
Tom and Zendaya started dating in 2021, three years after sharing screen for the first time in Spider-Man: Homecoming. The couple is next to be seen together in the fourth instalment of the franchise, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, in 2026.
Dua Lipa and Callum Turner
One of the most popular popstars of the time, Dua Lipa, is engaged to actor Callum Turner. On June 12, the 29-year-old singer shared her engagement news in an interview with a magazine. She added, “It’s very exciting. This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever — it’s a really special feeling.”
Lipa and Turner have been dating each other for almost a year and a half. Turner, who is known for his roles in movies like Fantastic Beasts and Masters of the Air, has been seen with the popstar on multiple occasions before making their relationship official. Most recently, they have made their red carpet debut as a couple in this year’s Met Gala.
The speculation around their engagement started at the beginning of the year when Dua Lipa posted pictures wearing a ring on social media. More than six months later, she confirmed the news and mentioned how happy she is, saying, “It’s so me. It’s nice to know the person that you’re going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.”

Rinku Singh and Priya Saroj
Cricketer Rinku Singh and Samajwadi Party MP Priya Saroj got engaged in June 2025, in a celebration in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The couple exchanged rings in the presence of family and friends in an intimate ceremony. The couple took to their social media to announce their engagement to fans.
With a heartfelt message, Rinku and Priya wrote on the caption, “This day has been in our hearts for so long – almost three years – and the wait was worth every second.” The wedding is reportedly set to be held in November 2025 in Varanasi.
Among the guests at the event were a few members of the Indian cricket team, leading political figures, including the former CM of Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav.
Kuldeep Yadav and Vanshika Chaddha
Rinku Singh is not the only cricketer in the list of most talked about celebrity engagements of the year. Earlier in June, Indian spin bowler, Kuldeep Yadav, also famously known as The Chinaman of Indian cricket, got engaged to his childhood friend Vanshika Chadda. The couple surprised their fans with the sudden news of their engagement ceremony in Lucknow.
It was an intimate celebration among close friends and family. Rinku Singh, with his fiancée MP Priya Saroj, was among the guests.
Vanshika is from Kanpur, currently working in Australia. Kuldeep and Vanshika have known each other since childhood as friends. Their friendship soon blossomed into romance in their adulthood, culminating in this sacred union.
Avika Gor and Milind Chandwani
Balika Vadhu famed Avika Gor got engaged to long-time beau, Milind Chandwani, last month. The TV Actress surprised fans with the engagement announcement in a social media post. Milind runs an NGO called Camp Diaries, while he became famous being a part of MTV reality show Roadies Real Heroes.
With the lovely photos, Avika left a heartfelt note, saying, He asked.. I smiled, I cried (in that order) and screamed the easiest YES of my life! I’m full filmy — background score, slow-mo dreams, mascara running and all. He’s logic, calm, and “let’s carry a first-aid kit just in case. I manifest drama. He manages it. And somehow, we just… Fit.”
Avika and Milind have been in a relationship for the past five years. The actress had made her relationship public in November 2020.
