Indian star cricketer Rinku Singh just got engaged to Priya Saroj, an MP from the Samajwadi Party!
As claimed by multiple media houses, India’s star batter Rinku Singh got engaged to Samajwadi Party’s Member of Parliament (MP) Priya Saroj on Friday. According to these sources, both are expected to tie the knot soon. After the news was shared on social media, the couple was showered with love from fans all across India.

While Rinku is a star batter and an important member of India’s T20I team, Saroj is a Lok Sabha MP from the Machhlishahr constituency in Uttar Pradesh. With a strong political background, Saroj has also studied law. Saroj defeated a senior BJP leader in 2024 to become one of India’s youngest MPs.
Rinku had a modest IPL season, scoring 168 runs at an average of 18.67 and shares a great bond with his team’s owner, Shahrukh Khan. Fans loved their precious bond too much in last year’s IPL when his team secured their third title. So far, he has played 30 T20Is for India, scoring 507 runs, and 2 ODIs, scoring 55 runs. Known for his ability to deliver in tough situations, Rinku has often impressed with his powerful batting performances. Rinku will next be seen in action during India’s five-match T20I series against England, starting January 22.
