Indian star player Kuldeep Yadav gets engaged to his childhood friend Vanshika in an intimate ceremony in Lucknow.
Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav, also famously known as The Chinaman of Indian cricket surprised his fans on June 4, 2025 by getting engaged with his childhood friend, Vanshika Chaddha. Kuldeep was seen adorning a sophisticated off-white bandhgala sherwani for his engagement, while his fiancée looked like a dream in a regal, heavily embellished orange lehenga.
It was an intimate gathering hosted in a luxe setting in Lucknow, with only close family and friends present. Among those friends was Indian star player Rinku Singh, who attended his close friend’s engagement with his fiancée, MP Priya Saroj.
His soon-to-be bride, Vanshika, is from Kanpur, and her father works in LIC. She is currently working in Australia. Kuldeep and Vanshika have known each other since childhood as friends. Their friendship soon blossomed into romance in their adulthood, culminating in this sacred union.
Kuldeep has garnered fame for his spectacular performance in this year’s IPL, in which he took 15 wickets while playing for Delhi Capitals. Initially, the wedding was planned for the last week of June. However, due to Kuldeep’s selection for India’s test tour in England, scheduled for 20 June, it has been postponed.
