Lakme Fashion Week 2024 X FDCI took place in the national capital of Delhi from 9th to 13th October 2024. Various popular designers and labels presented their innovative fashion creations during the prestigious week elevating Indian bridal and casual fashion even further. Just like every sky needs its stars to shine a tad bit brighter, the fashion week featured an array of shining stars from the Bollywood industry who became showstoppers for trendsetting collections in ethereal ensembles.

Ananya Panday for Rohit Bal
New Age actress Ananya Panday has recently become a fan favourite after her successful roles in series such as ‘Call Me Bae’ and movies like ‘CTRL’. The 25-year-old has been in demand amongst designers and brands. She graced the ramp in a black ensemble featuring a blouse, cape and skirt with motifs of rose all over them. This was for House of Lakme Grand Finale X Rohit Bal, the closing show of the fashion week.
Taha Shah for Pawan Sachdeva
Designer Pawan Sachdeva’s ‘DENIM’ collection combined fashion with comfort with handcrafted, skin-friendly denim. Walking the ramp was the ‘Heeramandi‘ sensation, actor Taha Shah in a stylish modern outfit.
Alaya F for Ashdeen
Actress Alaya F, popular for her roles in movies such as ‘Jawani Janeman‘ and ‘Srikanth‘, stunned the ramp in a black floral gown with a thigh-high slit for label Ashdeen’s collection inspired by the Parsi Gara craft and made using the Japanese art of Kintsugi.
Karisma Kapoor for Urmil, Soha Ali Khan for 17:17 and Sangeeta Bijlani for Sanjukta Dutta
Karisma Kapoor has been stealing hearts forever! The iconic actress walked the ramp for label Urmil in a gorgeous gold and beige outfit whereas actress Soha Ali Khan made a surprising entrance on the ramp for the brand 17:27 by designer Simmi Saboo in a bright mustard ensemble. Actress Sangeeta Bijlani also walked the runway in an ethereal red saree and diamond and emerald jewellery for designer Sanjukta Dutta.

Sushmita Sen, Tara Sutaria and Manushi Chillar for One Infinite
Actress and Miss Universe 1994, Sushmita Sen returned on the ramp in a sparkling ivory saree for designer Rashi Kapoor. Next was actress and singer Tara Sutaria who walked the ramp for the brand Awigna in a blush pink lehenga and heavy jewellery. Winner of the Miss World 2017 pageant Manushi Chillar amazed the audience in a floral blouse and skirt combo designed by the designer duo Rishi & Vibhuti.
Shraddha Kapoor for KALKI
Shraddha Kapoor has been on a roll since the release of her blockbuster film, ‘Stree 2‘. Along with being named as the new superstar, the actress added another feather to her cap with her recent walk for the brand KALKI at the Lakme Fashion Week 2024 X FDCI. In a pastel lehenga and choli combo she looked every bit of the beauty she is!
Aditi Rao Hydari for Tarun Tahiliani
It seems actress Aditi Rao Hydari is set on making every person fall for her charismatic persona. The newly married celebrity strutted the ramp for the Nexa presents OTT (Tarun Tahiliani) show in a modern electric blue ensemble. It’s safe to say she had all the eyes on her!
Sobhita Dhulipala for Punit Balana
Sobhita Dhulipala has been in trend since the announcement of her engagement with South Indian actor Naga Chaitanya. While earlier the actress walked the ramp for Rimzim Dadu at the FDCI India Couture Week 2024, this time she rocked a metallic grey traditional ensemble for designer Punit Balana’s ‘Johari Bazaar’ collection inspired by the same from Jaipur.
Sharvari Wagh for Pankaj & Nidhi
Sharvari Wagh has been rising as the new icon in Bollywood after her chart-topping roles in ‘Munjya‘, ‘Maharaj‘ and ‘Vedaa‘. The actress walked the ramp for the designer duo Pankaj & Nidhi in a wine outfit featuring a top, skirt and an extravagant jacket.
