The global pop icon took to Instagram to announce the news of her engagement with boyfriend Benny Blanco with a loving caption, “forever begins now..” Selena has been dating American songwriter and music producer Benny Blanco since 2023. Since then the couple has made public appearances and has been admiring each other fondly on shows and social media.

The bride-to-be posted a photo flaunting the engagement ring on her finger. The big rock is a marquise-cut diamond, sitting on a bejewelled band. The carousel shows Selena being over the moon with the ring and the dream of her forever turning into a reality. We get a sneak peek of the couple’s loving relationship in the last photo where Benny Blanco is seen wrapping his arms around his fiance with lots of love and laughter. He also made their union official by commenting on the post where he wrote, “hey wait… that’s my wife.”
Before dating, Gomez and Blanco have known each other for years. They first collaborated on the 2019 single “I Can’t Get Enough” with Tainy and J Balvin. Four years later in June 2023, the couple officially started dating. The singer released a single called “Single Soon” produced by her boyfriend in August 2023. She confirmed her relationship in December 2023 when she liked posts from fan accounts on Instagram featuring a photo of the pair. In one post, Gomez even commented, “he is my absolute everything in my heart.” The couple made their red carpet debut in January this year at the Emmys.
