Right after India’s historic win at the Women’s World Cup, the wedding news of Smrithi Mandhana started surfacing. As the celebration continues, the vice captain of the team is reportedly to get married this month, 20th November to be exact, as confirmed by the groom himself, music composer Palash Muchhal.
According to sources, Smriti and her longtime boyfriend, Palash Muchhal will be getting married in an intimate wedding ceremony in Indore. It can also take place in her hometown Sangli in Maharashtra, the venue and other details are yet to be confirmed.
After lifting India’s first-ever ICC Women’s World Cup trophy at Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium, Smriti Mandhana was seen celebrating with her boyfriend and soon-to-be husband. Palash accompanied the star opener on the ground as he often does to show his support towards his love.
Palash Muchhal is the brother of popular singer Palak Muchhal. He has reportedly been dating Smriti Mandhana since 2019, as Palash shared a post on Instagram in July 2024 celebrating their five-year anniversary.
The two have been sharing snaps of their love life online, making netizens admire their cute love story. People are also calling Palash a “lucky guy” to marry the World Cup winning national crush.
