The big Bollywood wedding of the season is all over the media including entertainment news and social media platforms. Actress Sonakshi Sinha married long-time beau Zaheer Iqbaal in an intimate ceremony held in Sonakshi’s apartment in Mumbai on June 23rd. The civil wedding was followed by a star-studded wedding reception on the same day, at Shilpa Shetty’s restaurant ‘Bastian’ in Mumbai. Sonakshi and Zaheer’s celebrity friends and family attended the celebration and they arrived in style. From the bride’s best friend Huma Qureshi to veteran actor Anil Kapoor, the guests partied the night away with the newlyweds.

Parents of the bride, Shatrugan Sinha and Poonam Sinha looked stunning in their ethnic attire for their daughter’s wedding reception party. While Poonam Sinha wore a sequin-trimmed ivory sharara suit, actor Shatrughan Sinha wore a royal blue dhoti kurta with a shawl around the neck while beaming with joy and greeting the paparazzi.
Huma Qureshi
The bride’s bestie and Double XL co-star, Huma Qureshi, served one of the best looks of the night like an ideal bridesmaid. Huma wore a shimmery champagne-hued golden saree with a bedazzled floor-length jacket. Her fiery red lips and diamond earrings and rings gave the perfect finishing touch.

Kajol
Kajol channelled an understated glam in a gleaming multi-toned saree. The liquid lame saree with accents of black and gold is tailor-made by Shivan & Naresh. Kajol paired it with a printed blouse and statement kundan earrings. Her wavy hair and light glam makeup were a perfect touch to the soft glam look.
Rekha
The evergreen Rekha made a grand entry to Sonakshi and Zaheer’s wedding reception looking like a queen. She chose a traditional Hyderabadi ivory white khada dupatta with gold borders. Her signature jasmine gajra was there, along with a green necklace, gold earrings, maang tika, and bangles. Her matching potli bags and dark lips added to the icon’s drama.
Anil Kapoor
Anil Kapoor looked dapper in an entirely black ensemble. He went for a black shirt and black trousers, with a black jacket on top. Kapoor accessorised his look with a simple pendant and chain and a metal bracelet. The veteran actor was seen dancing with the newly married couple in his iconic “My name is Lakhan” song.

Tabu
The ever-so-stunning beauty, Tabu arrived at the star-studded event in a pale pink traditional ensemble. The pink sharara suit was decorated with gold foil adornment all over its length, while the dupatta was heavily embroidered with foil work. The matching pants featured a flowy voluminous silhouette, and she finished her look with mini jhumkas and straight hair.
Vidya Balan & Siddharth Roy Kapur
Bollywood couple Vidya Balan and Siddharth Roy Kapur made a stylish appearance at the reception twinning in black. Vidya looked stunning in a gold glinted black Jade by MK ensemble, pairing the attire with a sleek bun, embroidered potli bag, and jadau mini earrings. Kapur matched his wife’s elegance in a head-to-toe black suit.
Aditi Rao Hydari & Siddharth
Actress Aditi Rao Hydari arrived hand-in-hand with her fiance Siddharth at the party. The couple exuded royal enigma, with Aditi bringing her Bibbojaancore back with a moss green velvet floral printed Sharara set made by the label Prints by Radhika. Her signature statement gold jhumkas and black bindi with straight hair completed her look. Actor Siddharth looked handsome in a beige bandhgala jacket over a white kurta pyjama.
Sanjeeda Shaikh
Heeramandi co-actor Sanjeeda Shaikh attended Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding reception looking like a dream in a purple pre-plated saree. The saree by the label Kalki fashion featured sequins all over. She added to the bling with an embroidered purple blouse, a silver heart-shaped purse, and chunky earrings.
Saqib Saleem
Actor Saqib Saleem attended the function looking stunning in green ethnic attire. He picked a green kurta with a jacket and paired it with black trousers. The actor who is a brother of actress Huma Qureshi is also a close friend to Sonakshi Sinha and was seen lending a helping hand in the ceremony.
