Association of East Event Manager Fraternity (AEEMF) successfully held its fourth edition conference at the scenic MAYFAIR Lake Resort, Atal Nagar, Raipur, gathering event management professionals from throughout the region for a grand three-day extravaganza themed “Band Baja Baaraat.”
Conference Legacy and Growth
Talking to our team, Geetesh Agarwal, founder and President, AEEMF, told us, “This is the fourth successful edition of the annual conclave of AEEMF, symbolising the organisation’s steady growth and dedication towards the event management sector.” He further added, ” The inaugural edition was organised in Pushkar, then the second year in Jaipur at Ananta Aspen Centre, and the third one in Goa. The fourth one at MAYFAIR Lake Resort, Atal Nagar, Raipur, clearly highlights the increasing reach of the conference within India’s event management sector.”

The conference venue, constructed along a picturesque water lake, offered the ideal setting for the event’s refreshing innovation. Visitors had an unforgettable arrival as they were taken around the lake on small boats, where welcome drinks were given during the picturesque boat ride. Organisers integrated water cannon games to amuse visitors, leaving an unforgettable first impression that set the tone for the rest of the conference.
Day One: White Theme Elegance
The first day had an elegant white theme celebration that set the tone for a sophisticated environment for the professional event. Entertainment highlights were a live performance by Sairaah, a renowned band in Mumbai and Delhi, whose melodious voice enthralled the audience throughout the evening. The food experience was also equally impressive, as special millet cuisine was made by Epicure, a well-known catering service.
Traditional Baraat Procession
In line with the wedding theme, the night witnessed a real baraat procession across the hotel compound. The event involved traditional dhol and dance performances that brought forth the festive atmosphere. The guests got to enjoy hot drinks and festive treats as they took part in the procession. One of the highlights was the turban-tying service, courtesy of Bapun Safa Wala from Kolkata, who made sure every guest was able to enjoy the traditional wedding wear. This focus on true detail turned a professional conference into a cultural experience.

The conference attracted prominent personalities from the event management and hospitality industries. Notable attendees included dignity Pooja Ray, wife of hotel owner Dilip Ray and Ms. Aaliya Ray, Resident Director of Mayfair Hotels and Resorts Ltd., who brought valuable insights from the hospitality sector. The event also saw the presence of Mr. Nimesh Pitalia of Indore and Mr. Rajnish Rathi, both noted leaders in their space. The conference was also made more special with the personal presence of the Tourism Minister and Tourism Secretary, marking the real acknowledgment of the significance of the event management sector by the government.

The A-Live Experience crew delivered energetic performances on stage. They had body jamming performances and incredible band acts that kept the crowd entertained until late at night. DJ Veronika added to the music entertainment so that the party could continue to be lively.

The AEEMF celebration continued with an evening pool party that provided a relaxed environment for networking and relationship building. The aquatic entertainment added a refreshing dimension to the conference experience, allowing professionals to connect in an informal setting. The awards ceremony honoured exceptional work in the event management profession.
Grand Finale Night
The conference ended with a star-studded climax that left everyone awestruck. Celebrity acts gave the last night a boost, and top celebrities like Kainaat Arora performed on stage to entertain the professionals gathered there. DJ Axon, whose celebrity status as a DJ ensured they knew how to bring the party, commandeered the musical environment, generating an electric atmosphere that drove celebrations from 6 PM through to early morning. Such an extended celebration provided optimum networking time while delivering top-grade entertainment.
The fourth edition of the AEEMF showed the increasing importance of professional event management within east India, part of a multimillion-dollar industry state-wide. The conference effectively brought together industry professionals from several states, building a useful network that will work to the advantage of the whole industry.
