Neha Chhabra, with over 20 years of experience, has been appointed as the General Manager of Sofitel Mumbai BKC.
Sofitel Mumbai BKC has announced the appointment of Neha Chhabra as its new General Manager. With over twenty years of experience in luxury and business hospitality, Chhabra brings to the role a strong track record in operations, guest experience and brand excellence.
Before joining Sofitel Mumbai BKC, she served as General Manager at JW Marriott Goa, where she played a pivotal role in positioning the property as one of North Goa’s leading luxury destinations. Under her leadership, the hotel earned more than 27 industry accolades, including recognition from Travel + Leisure India, Condé Nast Traveler and the HICSA Hotel of the Year 2024.
Prior to that, Chhabra held the position of General Manager at Courtyard by Marriott Bengaluru Hebbal, where she steered her team through the pandemic with innovation and agility, driving operational efficiency and sound financial performance. Her earlier tenure includes leadership roles at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, The Trident Bandra Kurla and The Oberoi New Delhi, where she honed her expertise in service standards and guest satisfaction in luxury environments.
Chhabra’s leadership has been recognised with multiple honours, including “Goa’s Best General Manager 2024” (CMO Asia), “Leadership Excellence 2022” (APEC GM Awards), and “Diamond General Manager of the Year 2021–22” (Global, Courtyard Brand). She has also featured among “Most Fabulous Women Leaders in Hospitality” and was awarded “Hotel Manager of the Year 2019” by BW Hotelier and Stelliers South India.

In her new role at Sofitel Mumbai BKC, Chhabra will be responsible for the hotel’s overall operations and strategic direction, with a focus on delivering outstanding guest experiences, driving sustainable growth and fostering a culture of creativity and excellence among the team.
