Singer-songwriter Prakriti Kakar got hitched to entrepreneur Vinay Anand. Here’s a breakdown of her stunning bridal looks.
In an intimate wedding at Fort Barwara near Jaipur, singer Prakriti Kakar has tied the knot with entrepreneur Vinay Anand. The wedding had only 30 guests, and the celebration was as dreamy as the pictures the singer dropped on her social media, with a caption that read “Just Married. 23.01.2026.”
Prakriti’s wedding trousseau was nothing short of a dream as she chose ensembles that matched her personality and brought fine design and craftsmanship to the occasion. For each and every celebration, she chose a distinct designer and colour palette.
For Mehendi: Sage Green Lehenga
Green is the colour for mehendi celebration and sage green is the hottest shade in the palette. Prakriti picked an Abhinav Mishra creation for the event, dazzling in the designer’s signature mirror-work lightweight lehenga. A sleeveless choli and dupatta carried like a cape defined the silhouette. Her look was completed with a multicoloured neckpiece with matching earrings and maang tikka along with side-parted waves.
For Haldi: Yellow Saree
This event was a special one as Prakriti Kakar designed both and the groom’s outfits herself. She wore a yellow georgette saree featuring golden sequins and paired with a crop top. For jewellery, she wore a pair of chain earrings and beaded golden minimal kaleeras. She kept her hair playful, adding gajras that paid homage to her husband’s South Indian heritage.
For Wedding: Pink Lehenga
Prakriti and Vinay had an Arya Samaj wedding ceremony. The bride went for a pink lehenga by Falguni Shane Peacock, pairing it with exquisite jewellery from Rambajo Jewellers. About choosing pink for her D-day, Prakriti said that pink has always been her favourite and maybe she will wear red “in another life.” The colour of the lehenga matched beautifully with the pink bangles on her hands.
For Reception: Corset Co-Ord
For the wedding reception in Mumbai, Prakriti went all glam in a jewel-toned red corset and skirt set by Jayesh & Kaajal Shah. The whole outfit was embellished with glass beads. She chose a layered emerald neckpiece with matching earrings for the reception look.
