The 5th edition of the Filmfare OTT Awards 2024 was held on December 1st, 2024 in Mumbai. The starry night saw glamorous appearances from B-town celebrities adorned in the finest designer creations, ready to dazzle the red carpet with all the excitement for the night. The event included nominations across 39 categories celebrating the best in Indian series and films. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’ received the highest number of nominations across 16 categories, followed by ‘Guns & Gulaabs’ with 10 and ‘Kaala Paani’ with 8. Several sequel and threequel seasons such as ‘Kota Factory Season 3‘, ‘Made in Heaven Season 2‘, and ‘Mumbai Diaries Season 2‘ received 7 nominations each.
While Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ won the award for the Best Film (Web Original) category, lead actor Diljit Dosanjh took the trophy for the Best Actor, Web Original Film (Male) for the film. The award for Best Actor, Web Original Film (Female) went to the diva of Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor Khan for her role in the movie ‘Jaane Jaan’. Posing with the black lady, the actress uploaded a story on her social media captioning, “The black lady always gives you that dizzy feeling… till today.”

‘The Railway Men’ featuring R. Madhavan, Kay Kay Menon and Babil Khan grabbed the award for the Best Series. While Gagan Dev Riar was honoured with the Best Actor Series (Male) Drama for ‘Scam 2003- The Telgi Story’, Rajkumar Rao took the Best Actor Series (Male) Comedy for his role in ‘Guns & Gulaabs’. The female award winners in the same categories were Manisha Koirala, Best Actor Series (Female) Drama for ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’ and Geetanjali Kulkarni for Best Actor Series (Female) Comedy for ‘Gullak Season 4’.
The actors graced the red carpet at the Filmfare OTT Awards 2024 in their fashionable best adding their own touch of aura and style to the evening. While Kareena Kapoor Khan donned the Sabyasachi Akashtara Silver Grey sari, Ananya Panday chose to go the contemporary way in a custom Amit Agarwal gown.
Vijay Varma attended the event in a three-piece suit from the brand Sarab Khanijou and Sanya Malhotra upped the glam in the Maison Estefan Signature Suit with a bow detailing at the back.
