The streets of Paris once again became the world’s most glamorous runway with the Haute Couture Week Spring Summer 2025 reviving the fashion capital’s vogue soul. From January 27th to 30th, 2025, the prestigious fashion week hosted A-list stars dressed in their designer best to attend showcases of the titans of Parisian fashion. From Chanel’s momentous show at the Grand Palais to Giorgio Armani celebrating 20 years of Armani Privé, here’s all you need to know about the esteemed event.
Paris Haute Couture Week 2025 Day 1
Schiaparelli opened on Day 1 with ‘Icarus’, where Daniel Roseberry’s avant-garde designs stunned the audiences. With supermodel Kendall Jenner walking the ramp, the collection drew on darting waists, experimental pleats, billowing crinolines and dramatic silhouettes that left a mark. Dior’s Maria Grazia Churi ventured into the world of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ with historical silhouettes such as YSL’s ‘Trapèze’ through the addition of crinolines, ruffles, tulle and lace.
Indian designer Rahul Mishra appeased with ‘Pale Blue Dot’, inspired by Earth’s photograph taken by NASA’s Voyager 1 in 1990. Idealising the concept of our fragility as opposed to the grandeur of the universe, his collection evoked environmental concerns with a muted colour palette and 3D creations. In ‘N°28’, Giambattista Valli ventured into an introspective walk through the Menara Gardens of Marrakesh, Morocco which transformed into airy puffball skirts, jacquard jackets and fancy tiered gowns for the collection in bold shades.

Paris Haute Couture Week 2025 Day 2
Gaurav Gupta’s ‘Across the Flame’ began the day on a soulful note making viewers emotional with its ode towards healing and light beyond the darkest flames. Navkirat Sodhi, the designer’s wife sustained more than 55% burns in the fire that struck the designer’s atelier in 2024. Rapper and singer Megan Thee Stallion was spotted in the front row at the show in the Chakric Drape Chain Gown crafted from layers of payals, Indian tribal jewellery and metallic amulets.
In bold colours of burnt orange, golden, navy blue and white as well as flowing silhouettes in gowns and dresses, the ensembles defined the fashion nouveau. While Elie Saab was inspired by the romanticism of an Impressionist garden to create the ‘Portrait of a Dream’ which had a soft, pastel palette, for his debut collection for Valentino, Alessandro Michele took cues from Umberto Eco’s ‘The Infinity of Lists’.
Paris Haute Couture Week 2025 Day 3
On Day 3, Chanel celebrated 110 years of the house at the Grand Palais. Shining light on Gabrielle Chanel’s talent as a colourist, pastels, bright tones, midnight blue and black made the creations– a sunshine yellow tweed suit to a metallic midnight blue evening gown, presented a progression from day to night.
“Creation is my reason for existing,” said Giorgio Armani before Armani Privé’s showcase of ‘Lumières’ held at the Palazzo Armani, the house’s atelier and studio inaugurated at the show. Celebrating 20 years of the couture line, he toyed with the art of light and the charismatic wardrobe of the modern woman, with sparkling cropped jackets, long dresses and masculine blazers in a palette of gold, greige, black, amaranth, bronze and more.

Paris Haute Couture Week 2025 Day 4
Day 4 closed the fashion week with two powerful feminine collections. Titled ‘Velvet Underground’, Ashi Studio’s collection was inspired by the women of the 60s who longed for bourgeois life while remaining the mistresses of their fate. Featuring voluminous structures, playful textures and intricate embroideries the ensembles stayed rooted to a dark palette of burgundy and black.
Later, Miss Sohee made a striking debut at the week with a collection that heralded the arrival of spring. South Korea-born designer Sohee Park created 25 feminine and dramatic looks from puffy lilac dresses with shimmering floral embroidery to a black leather dress with clamshell attachments.
Celebrities at the Paris Haute Couture Week 2025
The prestigious week shows fashionable appearances from the who’s and who’s of the fashion world adorned in designer ensembles. On Day 1, Jisoo, Anya Taylor Joy, Sonam Kapoor and Jenna Ortega were present at Dior, Rahul Mishra saw attendance from Indian influencer Ankush Bahuguna and fashion stylists Rhea Kapoor and Tanya Ghavri.
On Day 2, Turkish actress Hande Erçel and Eva Longoria looked glamorous at Elie Saab, whereas Im Yoon-ah and Carla Bruni were in vogue at Valentino.
On Day 3, Chanel was attended by ambassadors of the iconic brand, Dua Lipa, Kylie Jenner, Lily-Rose Depp and JENNIE. To partake in Armani Privé’s celebrations Demi Moore and Jessica Biel were present.
