The two-day celebration of the International Indian Film Academy Awards or IIFA 2025 took place on March 8 and March 9 in the city of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The night saw several big wins and some glamorous fashion moments by B-town stars. The prestigious award ceremony crossed a significant milestone of 25 years this year, and to commemorate the jubilee, an electrifying performance by Shah Rukh Khan set the stage on fire.
Among the big wins, Kiran Rao’s Laapataa Ladies made the biggest headline with ten wins, the highest number of wins of the night. The 17-year-old actress Nitanshi Goel took home the Best Actress trophy, becoming the youngest winner in the category. Her portrayal of Phool Kumari in Laapata Ladies was outstanding, gaining her well-deserved recognition. The movie also won the Best Picture Award, while Kiran Rao bagged the Best Director Award for it at IIFA 2025.

Kartik Aaryan won the Best Actor award for his blockbuster film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Raghav Juyal earned Best Performance in a Negative Role for his intense performance in the movie Kill, which also won multiple awards including Best Cinematography.
Among the star-studded performers, King Khan stole hearts when he quite literally made an entrance as the ‘Badshah’. SRK also performed on stage with Madhuri Dixit, unleashing some nostalgia magic into the night. Kareena Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon also graced the stage with their performances. Another highlight of IIFA 2025 was when Jab We Met costars Shahid and Kareena had a warm reunion on stage, sharing a hug and sending fans in awe.
