“A multi-sensory food experience metamorphoses a wedding meal into a grand, mesmerising moment that tells a story, captures emotions, and adds a deeper meaning to the celebration. It’s not just about feeding people—it’s about connecting them through unforgettable shared experiences. It touches all your basic senses, which albeit, helps one in resonating the event on a more personal note,” added Parth Girdhar.

When asked whether or not it is possible to engage all the senses equally, Anil shared his expert insight on how it is challenging yet achievable with thoughtful design. “At Food Art Hospitality, we believe that while taste and sight naturally take the lead, carefully curated elements like ambient sounds, inviting aromas, and varied textures can elevate the entire sensory experience. It’s about balance—ensuring each sense contributes harmoniously to create a memorable and immersive dining journey without overwhelming guests.”

Parth said, “The toughest sense to engage in food experiences is often hearing, because sound is less directly connected to eating compared to taste or smell. While visual appeal, aroma, texture, and flavour naturally arise from the food itself, creating meaningful and pleasant sounds—beyond natural food noises like crunching or sizzling—requires deliberate design, such as ambient music or interactive elements. Balancing sound without overwhelming the dining atmosphere can be challenging, making hearing the most subtle and complex sense to incorporate effectively.”
