Adding to the statement, designer Aneeth Arora stated, “I am a strong believer that the universe brings people together, and that is the force behind making things happen. Hello Kitty was not something we approached, it was just a thought. Hello Kitty is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and they were looking for someone from the fashion world in India to collaborate with. It’s very fortunate that they chose péro for it.”

The Spring/Summer ’25 collection presented at the Lakme Fashion Week 2024 X FDCI features the signature checks of the brand, stripes woven in Mashru, gingham checks from West Bengal, stripes and checks from Chanderi in Madhya Pradesh and embroidery techniques like French knots and satin stitches. Along with clothes and accessories, the brand also presented handcrafted floral bedsheets and a limited edition of jackets.

Considering the rise of collaborations between Indian designers and international brands, this project marks a significant step forward. It combines fashion and fun in an exemplary collection perfect for women and men of all ages.
