Actor Prateik Babbar married long-time girlfriend Priya Banerjee in an intimate ceremony at home!
Actor Prateik Babbar tied the knot with his girlfriend Priya Banerjee on February 14th, 2025 in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai. The couple held their wedding ceremony in their Mumbai home which belonged to the actor’s mother and late actress Smita Patil. Commenting on the heartfelt ceremony, Prateik said, “We desired a ‘ghar ki shaadi,’ and getting married to the love of my life here — the first house that my mom bought and my home — was the best way to honour her in spirit.”
The newly weds announced their forever on social media with a joint post captioned with: “I’ll marry you in every lifetime #priyaKAprateik ♾️” In the series of photos the bride and groom can be seen performing the wedding ceremony and relishing in the beginning of their happily ever after.

For their big day, the couple looked ethereal in custom ivory ensembles by designer Tarun Tahiliani. While Prateik looked dashing in a silk drape shirt, paired with a charmeuse dhoti and a sherwani jacket, Priya looked ethereal in a resham-embroidered fishtail skirt, adorned with crystals, sequins, pearls, and beads, paired with a structured corset and veil. For jewellery, Prateik opted for a TT custom necklace crafted with Swarovski ivory pearls entwined with floral motifs. In contrast, Priya shined in diamond, emerald and pearl jewellery from the Khurana Jewellery House.
Talking about his love for his now-wife Priya, Prateik Babbar said in an interview, “I am so blessed and fortunate to have Priya. I have made so many mistakes, but I must have done something right for such a wonderful woman to come in my life. I was separated, going through divorce and Priya had broken off her engagement. It was then, when I slipped into her DMs in 2020. When we kissed first, it was game over. I knew it (she is the one). I was hesitant initially due to my divorce and how complicated it was. But she is my home. I am more obsessed with her.”

On the work front, Prateik was seen in a supporting role in the recently released Netflix movie ‘Dhoom Dhaam’ starring Yami Gautam and Pratik Gandhi. Priya on the other hand was last seen in the Star Bharat serial ‘Shaitani Rasmein’ in 2024.
