Recently engaged couple Rana Daggubati and Miheeka Bajaj’s wedding bells might ring sooner than you had expected. Deccan Chronicle disclosed that the wedding will take place on August 8 in Hyderabad. Rana’s father Suresh Babu, recently revealed to the news portal that the wedding ceremony will take place following all the safety guidelines from the government.
Wedding Plans
Only recently the pictures of the adorable couple’s Roka ceremony had gone viral on the internet. Babu told that it was not exactly an engagement but a pre-wedding ceremony as per Telugu rituals. The lovebirds’ Roka ceremony was held on May 21. They reportedly had a close-knit ceremony in the presence of their family members, owing to the nationwide COVID-19 lockdown. While fans were eagerly waiting for Rana to confirm the wedding dates, his father has confirmed that the duo will tie the knot on August 9.
The Deccan Chronicle report states, “Rana’s father, Suresh Babu, said members of both the families would attend the ceremony, which would be performed as per government guidelines on the coronavirus epidemic.”
Earlier, Rana Daggubati’s father Suresh Babu spilt the beans on the couple’s wedding plans. He told Times Of India that Rana and Miheeka will be having a December wedding (Source: NDTV). “We were thinking of having it around December but it could happen even sooner than that too. We will reveal the details once things are final from our side,” he said.

Earlier in May, Rana had made his relationship with Miheeka public. Sharing a photo with his Miheeka. The actor wrote on Instagram: “And she said yes! #MiheekaBajaj.” He used a red heart emoji along with his caption.
