Actress Tara Sutaria walks the ramp for Kalki Fashion as the label marks a major milestone with the unveiling of its first standalone couture show. Actor Varun Dhawan also walked the ramp with Tara, looking magnificent in regal red and gold ensembles.
Kalki Fashion’s latest collection Zehn was the heart of the evening. Named after the Urdu word for “mind” or “intellect,” Zehn celebrated the power of couture: the power of creative thought transformed into design, the power of turning vision into reality that bridges heritage and modernity.
Each and every ensemble in the collection reflects the core of modern Indian couture: India’s rich artistic heritage brought to life with contemporary sensibility. While zardosi, resham embroidery, sequins and moti works were showcasing fine craftsmanship, the modern silhouettes and contemporary aesthetic gave it the haute couture touch. With it, the runway became a canvas for one-of-a-kind artistry where both tradition and modernity are celebrated.
Tara Sutaria looked breathtaking in a showstopping red lehenga that is as unique as magnificent. Her natural grace, along with Kalki’s commanding design, created a look inspiring the visual aesthetic for Wedding Affair’s latest issue. Her long, wavy locks and classic glam makeup with minimal statement jewellery by Akoya Jewels finished the gorgeous look. Varun Dhawan, in a gold ensemble, looked dapper as he walked the ramp.
The collection Zehn sets a new standard for bridal couture with intricate craftsmanship and contemporary silhouettes, marking Kalki’s shift beyond occasion weather towards a more fashion-forward identity.
