2018 is going to be a treat for cinemagoers, with a cluster of starry releases lined up. The new year promises to treat the audience with entertainment and raise the ante. Here is a list of 10 movies that we all are dying to watch this year:

Padmaavat: Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and starring Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. This movie has been in the eye of the storm for quite some time now. Finally, the movie has been given a green signal by CBFC and will release on January 25. The period film revolves around queen Padmini. Check out the trailer here!

Padman: Akshay Kumar is back on Republic day with his latest project. Directed by R Balki, Padman boasts of a stellar cast which includes Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor. The movie is inspired by the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham who created a low-cost sanitary napkin machine. Check out the trailer here!

Hichki: A female-oriented film starring Rani Mukerji who suffers from Tourette syndrome in the movie. Directed by Siddharth P Malhotra, the film is all set to release on February 23. Check out the trailer here!

Pari: Anushka’s third film as a producer and her first film to release after her marriage. Pari starring Anushka Sharma and Parambrata Chatterjee is directed by Prosit Roy. The first look of the film will surely give you goosebumps. 

Drive: Starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez and directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the movie has been in news due to a party song shot in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Sanju: A biopic on Sanjay dutt’s life, directed by Rajkumar Hirani and starring Ranbir Kapoor in the titular role. Ranbir Kapoor has undergone striking transformation to play his idol.

2.0: The thalaivar reprises his role as a robot. Directed by Shankar and starring Rajinikanth along with Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson. The 3D technology incorporated in the film is an added bonus for the cinemagoers.

Veere Di Wedding: Girl Power rocks! Boasting of four leading ladies, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania. Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, the movie revolves around the lives of these four ladies.

Zero:  Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. The movie is directed by Aanand L Rai and revolves around Shah Rukh Khan who plays a dwarf. Check out the trailer here!

Thugs of Hindostan: Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, it’s a period drama starring stalwarts like Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh. The film boasts of unparalleled grandeur.
