The red carpet was illuminated by the unparalleled elegance and glamour of Bollywood superstars. Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Rakul Preet, Janhvi Kapoor, and Manushi Chhillar, among others, graced the red carpet with tones of purple, pink, blue, and forever favourite black. The dramatic trails, blingy sequins, and waist-accentuated silhouettes added extra oomph to the star-studded event.

The humorous demeanour of the host, Salman Khan, and the co-hosts, Maniesh Paul and Ayushmann Khurrana, kept the audience entertained. Salman Khan juggled his hosting skills and performances for the glamorous night. The actor performed the lungi dance from his recent film ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’. From shaking a leg with Govinda to vibing with Anil Kapoor to his signature ‘My Name Is Lakhan’ hookup step, the versatile actors bring the entire room to life.

Bollywood divas stole the limelight with their scintillating dance performances. Janhvi Kapoor set the stage ablaze with her electrifying performance. Jacqueline Fernandez turned into Cleopatra and stunned the audience with her incredible moves. Channelling his inner Hrithik Roshan, die-hard fan Tiger Shroff gave a jaw-dropping performance. Govinda set the stage on fire with his OG thumka. His classic dance moves were accompanied by Salman Khan and made the audience groove to the beats. Vicky Kaushal charms on stage with the Oscar-winning song ‘Naatu Naatu’. Alia Bhatt who was seated right at the front partook in the performance from the audience listening to the song.

THE VILLAIN OF BOLLYWOOD 

The most beloved villain of Bollywood, Prem Chopra was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award for his remarkable performances over the years. He was accompanied to the stage by Salman Khan and Sharman Joshi. The veteran star accepted the honour by thanking his directors, producers and co-actors. His wife, Uma Chopra along with his three daughters, were his biggest cheerleaders.

The red carpet enlightened with the magnifique of the Bollywood stars. The charismatic RajKummar Rao appeared on the stage all suited and booted and bagged the award of Best Actor Male for his film, ‘Badhaai Do’. Looking like the black lady trophy herself, Alia Bhatt received the award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for Gangubai Kathiawadi. The talented, Bhumi Pednekar came in style in a shimmering corset gown and was awarded the Best Actress Critics’ Choice Award for her film, ‘Badhaai Do’. She was exhilarated by her victory. Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali received the Best Film Award for his masterpiece, Gangubai Kathiawadi. His heart warmed when megastar, Anil Kapoor knelt before him to present the award.
