A blast of traditional Malaysian music and dance by the cultural troupe, ushering the High Commissioner, inaugurated the wedding conclave with utmost cheer. As an opening note, Rathi welcomed the fraternity and guests and introduced the event to the gathering. Followed by the note, H.E. Abdul Hamid presented his salutations and offerings of Malaysia as the perfect wedding destination in his speech. The drinks and snacks kept pouring in as the WAGabfest progressed towards more informative sessions by Sulaiman Bin Suip, the Director of Tourism Malaysia, enlightening videos about the cultures, hospitality and gastronomy in Malaysia. The dance and music from Sarawak Dance Troupe kept the audience amused with the interactive acts with the gathering.

In his presentation, Bin Suip acquainted the audience with lucrative entry options in Malaysia, presence of expedient luxury resorts and hotels, exotic beach-and-sand destinations, delectable local food and beverages coupled with rewarding prices and support from Tourism Malaysia.
