How to prep for your wedding despite a 9 to 5 job

Even if you’re tied to your desk from 9 to 5, there are things you can do from the comfort of your office chair to ensure you look and feel your absolute best by the time your wedding day comes around. Sometimes doing two things at once is a good idea. Here are some ways to wedding prep with our wedding beauty tips.

Fix you posture

Take a quick 30-second break from your computer and check your posture: Is your back curved, or are your shoulders back with your core engaged? Checking yourself in the mirror throughout the day, or even using a wall to ensure the top of your back is touching the wall, can remind your body of how you should be standing

Moisturise your neck and hands

Keep hand lotion at your desk and be sure to use it often! Regardless of whether you’re attending your own engagement party, meeting your girls for a drink or you are set to become a bride, you’ll want to make sure your hands are looking their best. They’re going to be getting a lot of attention over the next few months, after all.

Hydrate your body

Apart from eating healthy and regularly, and including exercise in your routine for your overall health, there are some more things that you should keep in mind during the wedding season – like drinking water and staying hydrated. You are less likely to feel thirsty in the winters, and with so much to do during the wedding, you might just forget to drink water the whole day. However, you must set reminders on your phone and grab a bottle of water whenever you can.

Stretch you body once in while

Moving or stretching is a buildable habit. For starters, you can set a timer to remind you to take a quick walk or stretch. If you’re pressed for time, there are even certain stretches you can do at your desk. Scroll down for the tutorial on working out those computer kinks.Remember to breathe normally throughout the stretches, and never hold your breath. With each stretch, you may find yourself more flexible. Don’t go further than is comfortable.

Stay away from caffeine

Sorry if you can’t do without your cup of coffee but you just can’t consume it a few days before your wedding if you don’t want a bloated stomach. You surely don’t want that! You surely don’t want that! The caffeine present in coffee produces acids in your stomach and makes it bloat. So, no more coffee till you get finally married.
