The 58th edition of Femina Miss India was organized on Sunday, 3rd July 2022 at Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai. Sini Shetty from Karnataka was announced as the Miss India World 2022. Sini was crowned by Miss India 2020 Manasa Varanasi of Telangana.
The event was a star-studded affair, hosted by actor Manish Paul. Celebrities including Kriti Sanon, Lauren Gottlieb, and Ash Chandler gave dazzling performances and made the event even more special. Rajkumar Rao was also a part of the ceremony.
The jury panel comprised actors Neha Dhupia, Dino Morea, and Malaika Arora, designers Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna, choreographer Shiamak Davar and former cricketer Mithali Raj.
Femina Miss India World 2022
The 21-year-old winner, Sini Shetty, was born in Mumbai and hails from Karnataka. Shetty holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting and is currently pursuing a professional course in Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Sini is also a trained Bharatnatyam Dancer and has been dancing since the age of four. Shetty’s inspiration is Priyanka Chopra.
Femina Miss India 2022 1st Runner-up
Rubal Shekhawat was crowned as the first runner-up in the pageant. She represented the rich in culture and heritage state, Rajasthan. Rubal has always been an ambitious person and faced challenges head-on. She is interested in dancing, acting, painting, and playing badminton. She was also an NCC Cadet. Shekhawat’s inspiration is Sushmita Sen.
Femina Miss India 2022 2nd Runner-up
21- year old, Shinata Chauhan was crowned as Miss India 2022 2nd Runner-up. She represented Uttar Pradesh in the pageant. Shinata is a scholar and a natural-born leader. Her story is of a young girl who has always wanted to make it big and has an impactful and meaningful life. Her inspiration is Priyanka Chopra.
Neha Dhupia, Femina Miss India World 2002 was also felicitated at the ceremony for celebrating 20 years of her crowning.
