Actress Mouni Roy married her Dubai based banker fiance Suraj Nambiar in Goa and the pictures from their south indian wedding is beyond beautiful.
The pre wedding festivities
The pre-wedding festivities began on the 26th of December as the gorgeous duo married according to South Indian rituals surrounded by family and friends. Photos of the wedding have been shared by guests, which showed many actors and actresses in attendance including Arjun Bijlani, Mandira Bedi, Aashka Goradia
Actor Arjun posted a picture of the newlyweds, writing, “Mr and Mrs Nambiar.”
The wedding revelries kicked off with an intimate haldi ceremony in Goa. The much-in-love couple made a twinning statement in white ensembles. While Suraj kept it simple in a white kurta set, it was Mouni’s outfit that instantly had us impressed. She wore an embroidered white lehenga with heavy golden borders with a sleeveless blouse.
The attire
Mouni Roy made a picture-perfect bride, dressed in a traditional south India white silk saree with red and gold borders and a matching red and gold blouse.
She was also decked out in traditional South Indian wedding jewellery complete with a gold belt and a gajra around her plaited hair. She wore heavy gold jewellery inclusive of customised matha patti, broad bangles, heavy jhumkas, a heavy bridal choker set teamed with a Ganapati-style heavy pendant set and a broad waistband.Suraj Nambiar wore a beige kurta and traditional white mundu.
The couple also had a Bengal ceremony where the actress chose to embrace a traditional Bengali bridal look in a quintessential red lehenga.
The ensemble came adorned with heavy gold embroideries and an elaborate border, making Mouni look like a dreamy vision.
The actress took to Instagram early this morning, Mouni Roy shared a photo with fiance Suraj Nambiar from a pre-wedding ceremony and captioned it as “Everything #HariOm. Om Namah Shivay.”
