Yuvi became the first player in the T20I history to hit the ball over the boundary for continuous six sixes in an over. The dramatic feat was achieved against England in a Super Eight match during the T20 World Cup. The achievement is still celebrated among the global audience till now. With this, he also scored the fastest 50 (12 balls) in the T20I history.

3. Partnership With Mohammed Kaif, Final v Eng, NatWest Series 2002

One of the most iconic matches of ODI history, India dramatically clinched the victory from England’s hands after losing its primary wickets at crucial stages. Yuvraj Singh and Mohammed Kaif stabled the team and lead its way to a notable win. Sourav Ganguly’s shirtless stint from the Lord’s balcony followed shortly.

4. Impressive Batting Debut of 84, Ind v Aus, ICC Knockout Cup 2000

Owing to his fantastic performance for the Under-19 team, the talented player was selected to play the ICC Knockout Cup in 2000. He made his batting debut against Australia, where he impressed everyone with his superb batting skills, scoring 84 of 80 balls. He was also awarded the Man of the Match here. This was the beginning of something special for the Indian cricket team in the form of Yuvi.

5. Partnership With Sachin Tendulkar, Ind v England, Chennai Test 2008

A historic 387 run chase win was achieved due to the fantastic performances of Indian players including Yuvraj Singh. This was also an emotional game as it was the first one after the 26/11 attack in Mumbai. Despite the poor start, the Indian team grabbed victory due to Sachin’s dramatic century which was beautifully supported by Yuvraj Singh’s quick 85. The partnership won the match.
