OMEGA has been the official watchkeeper of the Olympic Games since 1932. This year, they decided to make a watch that captivates and celebrates the soul of the Olympic Games in Paris 2024. This collectable piece showcases a 39mm case in OMEGA’s exclusive Bronze Gold, a stunning dial crafted from 925 silver, and slender hands in 18K SednaTM Gold with a unique PVD Bronze Gold coating.
This timepiece is more than just a watch; it’s a tribute to OMEGA’s deep connection with global sporting excellence. As the Official Timekeeper of the Olympic Games, OMEGA will be measuring the Paris 2024 event for the 31st time. Their legacy of precision extends to the Paralympic Games as well, where they have served as official timekeepers since 1992. The Paris 2024 Bronze Gold Edition, inspired by the timeless 1939 OMEGA wristwatch, celebrates the brand heritage as well. The original model had OMEGA’S widely known 30T manual-winding small second calibre, and this current tribute bears the “BG859” engraving on the case back, which reflects the same case shape and materials.

Bronze Gold, OMEGA’S special alloy noted for its gentle pink hue and resistance to verdigris oxidation, gives this watch a distinctive and outstanding appearance. This unique edition also has a “Clous de Paris” pattern on the dial, which pays homage to French workmanship, as well as a circular brushed pattern on the minute track and a short seconds sundial at 6 o’clock.
