Alia Bhatt, Kriti Sanon & Allu Arjun Receives National Awards
The 69th National Film Awards ceremony was held in New Delhi’s Vigyan Bhawan on 17th October 2023 and the awards were presented by President Droupadi Murmu. The winners of the National Awards for the year 2021, announced in August, included Allu Arjun (Best Actor), Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon (Best Actress). Alia Bhatt received the accolade for her performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi, Kriti Sanon won the award for her performance in the film Mimi and Allu Arjun received the Best Actor award for Pushpa: The Rise. Other films that won awards were RRR, Sardar Udham, Gangubai Kathiawadi and The Kashmir Files, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. The DadaSaheb Phalke Award, India’s highest film honour, went to legendary actress Waheeda Rehman.
Bollywood Stars Meet David Beckham
Legendary football player David Beckham recently arrived in India as a part of his tour as UNICEF’s Goodwill Ambassador and attended the ICC World Cup match. The football player was spotted in Mumbai attending the semi-final match between India and New Zealand at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. During his visit, Beckham was seen meeting and greeting many Bollywood stars. Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja hosted a grand welcome party for Beckham. The party was also attended by many other Bollywood celebs like Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Farhan Akhtar, his wife Shibani and Shadid Kapoor with his wife Mira Rajpoot.

The Oscars Academy Welcomed Ram Charan to the Actors Branch
The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences has added Telugu actor Ram Charan to its roster of new members. The Academy revealed the new members, along with Lashana Lynch, Vicky Krieps, Louis Koo Tin-Lok, Keke Palmer, Chang Chen, Sakura Ando, and Robert Davi, by sharing the list on their official social media website. The Academy announced the list in a post on their official Instagram account on Thursday, November 2. After the movie’s popularity, Ram Charan, the actor from “RRR,” received attention. The actors on the list were recognised for their talent and commitment by the film body as well.
Tiger 3 Worldwide Box Office Collection Enters ₹300 Crore Club
Tiger 3 worldwide box office collection day 6: Helmed by Maneesh Sharma, Tiger 3 has entered the ₹300 crore club at the global box office. As per a press note by the film’s team, Tiger 3 minted ₹229 crore gross (₹188.25 crore nett) in India. It earned ₹71 crore gross ($8.50 m) globally. The film’s earnings so far worldwide are ₹300 crore gross ($36.15 m). The film features Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. It also has a cameo appearance by Shah Rukh Khan. Just like the two previous instalments – ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, the film focuses on a new mission involving RA&W agent Tiger (Salman Khan) and ISI agent Zoya (Katrina Kaif).
