It has been some time since ace Indian designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee launched his runway edit in the form of Kashgaar Bazaar in collaboration with Christian Louboutin on April 7, 2019. The collection, that might never see the light of the stores, has been so beautiful in its colour-play, ‘Silk-Route’ inspired fabrics, embroideries, and layers of print that we still can’t get over it. The inspirations behind the collection were gypsies, nomads, and prostitutes, who represented shades of colours for Sabyasachi. With the collection, he visited his roots as his graduation collection from NIFT in 1999 was titled ‘Kashgaar Bazaar’ as well.
