Kareena Kapoor Khan To Make Her OTT Debut
Kareena Kapoor Khan will enter the world of OTT with Sujoy Ghosh’s directorial ‘The Devotion of Suspect X’ which is based on the eponymous novel by Keigo Higashino. The actress will be sharing the screen with Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma. The storyline of “The Devotion of Suspect X” unfurls with a single mother and her daughter who commits a crime and a neighbour who helps them cover it up amidst a police investigation. The novel has been adapted numerous times including in Japan as “Suspect X”, in Korea as “Perfect Number” and in China as “The Devotion of Suspect X.”
Maidaan To Release This June
Ajay Devgn will appear on the big screen with Amit Sharma’s ‘Maidaan’. ‘Maidaan’ is a sports biographical drama set in the golden era of Indian football from 1952 to 1962. This film is based on the life of the popular football coach Syed Abdul Rahim, who managed the Indian football team for 13 years and laid the foundation of modern Indian football. The role of this football doyen is being played by Ajay Devgan in the movie. The supporting cast includes Priyamani, Gajraj Rao and Rudranil Ghosh.
Ranveer Singh To Be Represented By WME 
It’s time for Ranveer Singh to step into Hollywood. The ‘Bajirao Mastani’ actor has signed with an international talent agency called William Morris Endeavor (WME) to get Hollywood projects. Formed in 1898, William Morris Agency is the longest-running talent agency that manages sports, media, events and fashion. This agency also represents international stars like Gal Gadot, Emma Stone, Oprah Winfrey and Charlize Theron, among others. Ranveer Singh will be seen next on the silver screen with Alia Bhatt in Karan Johar’s ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’.
Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Kennedy’ Screened At Cannes 
Police noir ‘Kennedy’ by Anurag Kashyap received phenomenal success at the Cannes Film Festival. This year, not only ‘Kennedy’ but two more films, ‘Agra’ and ‘Nehemich’ were showcased at the film extravaganza. The screening is sought to remain a prestigious moment for the entertainment industry. The film ‘Kennedy’ was screened at the Midnight Screening section at the award show and got a standing ovation of seven minutes post-screening. Alia Bhatt Becomes Brand Ambassador Of Gucci
Alia Bhatt had added another feather to her cap. The ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ actress has been named the first Indian global ambassador for Gucci. The actor, producer and entrepreneur made her first public appearance as Gucci’s ambassador at the Gucci Cruise 2024 runway show. The tinseled event took place at the Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul and has marked its glorious 25 years since the brand opened its first store in the country. This year also saw a glamorous debut of Alia Bhatt at the Met Gala.
Ayushmann Khurrana In Dream Girl 2
The comedy-drama fuelled film, ‘Dream Girl 2’ is scheduled to be released theatrically on 7th July 2023. This film is a sequel to 2019 ‘Dream Girl’, which did wonders on the silver screen.
