Last Sunday evening was quite a dazzler as the biggest celebrities and luminaries of the industry gathered at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California for the 92nd annual Academy Awards in their most suave fashion. The guests for the evening showed up to the event in designer couture. Hottest names on the list were Dior, Versace, Oscar De La Renta, Chanel, and whatnot, the list goes on and on. But the glamour did not just stop at these intricate raiments, the celebrities were rather seen rocking some big and sparkling rocks on the carpet too. Most of these pieces were from the most top-notch brands in the business and which is why we jotted down a list of top five jewellery brands that ruled the 2020 Oscars red carpet colossally.
1. BVLGARI
Bulgari was seen quite eminently on the scene as many actresses strolled about in these heavy and beautiful jewels. Actress Zazie Beetz wore a variety of jewellery including round brilliant cut diamonds and pavé set diamonds and a Bulgari High Jewelry necklace in white gold with one oval emerald that complimented her look phenomenally overall. Other celebrities who joined the Bulgari bandwagon included director Gerta Gerwig, Brie Larson, and many more.
2. Tiffany & Co.
Tiffany & Co. as always was also one of the top choices amongst the celebrities. Charlize Theron, one of the Best Actress nominees, was seen wearing a necklace that consisted of 20-plus carat marquise-cut diamond from Tiffany & Co. that she very elegantly dazzled along with her dramatic black Dior Haute couture gown.
3. Chopard
Celebrities like Academy Award winner and recipient of the 2020 Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award, Geena Davis, French actress Léa Seydoux graced the evening as they borrowed their jewels from Chopard. Actress-author Mindy Kaling was seen adorned with a number of Chopard Jewellery pieces which were from their “Haute Joaillerie Collection” and “Magical Setting Collection”.
4. Harry Winston
Harry Winston too topped the charts of celebrities and our’s favourites charts with their timeless pieces being flaunted on the red carpet. Regina King, a presenter, especially caught our eyes in her Draperie Diamond Bracelet, Carpet Diamond Ring, Sparkling Cluster Diamond Ring, and a Crossover Diamond Ring, all set in platinum.
