To celebrate the fabled apartment of the label’s founder Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel, the entire set for the show was decorated as if recreating the apartment. Viard designed the entire collection in reminiscence of Chanel’s flat. Elements picked from within the apartment were embossed within the designs in the collection as well. Viard described the collection as “the things we like, a mix of Karl and Chanel — the codes.”

The all-black look immediately set the tone for the entire show honouring the silhouettes and accents of a classic Chanel piece. The runway was replete with a whole lot of black and white looks and glam make-up. The beauty looks featured sparkles and glitter around the eyes.
