Burberry has become the latest brand to release its own face masks, combining its iconic check pattern with antimicrobial technology. The masks are constructed from revalued fabric and are available in either “Archive Beige” or “Pale Blue” versions of the house’s Vintage check.
The masks provide Particle Filtration Efficiency, and the material has been enhanced using antimicrobial technology. Both colour options come with a matching travel pouch, which also features antimicrobial technology. (Source: Hypebeast)
A portion of the proceeds from each sale will go as a donation to the Burberry Foundation COVID-19 Community Fund, which provides PPE and works with food banks and healthcare charities globally. The launch of the masks is the latest initiative from the label, which has also included donations to vaccine research and the production of over 160,000 pieces of PPE.
