The International MICE and Wedding Forum – IMWF 2021 is held for the 5th time this year from 18th to 22nd November at the luxurious Titanic Mardan Palace in Antalya, Turkey. About the Opening ceremony

The opening ceremony began with the theme of “Squid Game” on 18th November 2021. After a year’s break due to the pandemic, Mr N. Fuat Ersoy, the Managing Partner at IMWF inaugurated the event. He began by expressing gratitude towards the main partners of IMWF including Turkish Airlines, Titanic Mardan Palace and Inventum Global. Succeeding it, Ms Çağla Yöntem of Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) and Ersoy expressed their happiness for being present at this wonderful event.

Special Guests at the Event

The International MICE and Wedding Forum are graciously attended by experts in the wedding industry from all over the world. The special guests and thought-provoking speakers have skillfully set the stage on fire with their inspiring words. Dmitry Rogulev of ADA-Symposium gave a comprehensive speech on “Let’s be ecofriendly – or cleaner afterparty” by explaining how harmful the materials used during the events could be. He expressed his concern towards nature and environmental pollution and concluded by seeking Mr Ersoy’s promise of making the IMWF ’22 as eco-friendly as possible.

Prof. Dr Emre Toros, Dean of Faculty of Communication at Hacettepe University shared valuable suggestions with the audience by delivering a speech on “The post-Covid Society: A Reflection” and further correlated the process of the pandemic to the industry’s challenges.

On the other hand, Jason Allan Scott gave a delighting speech on the theme, “Resilience” and discussed how people can imbibe the qualities of being “resilient” based on his own life experiences.

The commencement ceremony at IMWF is far beyond informative and expressive as it instilled much knowledge, enthusiasm and awareness amongst the audiences. The speakers not only created a connection with the audiences but also let them have exposure to their own real-life experiences, which indeed is priceless! Hence, we are eagerly looking forward to gaining the most from this amazing event.
