Jahnvi Aghara and Divya Patel embarked on a journey of a lifetime that unfolded in the majestic pink city of Jaipur amidst 550 guests from January 16-18, 2019. JW Marriott Jaipur Resort & Spa’s stunning traditional architecture and modern elements coupled with exquisite theme decor made the wedding flamboyant and momentous. Divya is the son of Mr Deepak Patel, Chairman – Ozone Group, renowned real estate developers and Bhamasha Trustee of Vishv Umiya Foundation. While Jahnvi Aghara is the daughter of Mr Jitendra Aghara, Chairman – Simpolo Group, India’s most distinguished ceramic brand.

From the magnificent elephants and horses during the grand welcome to the monumental exterior set-ups and impressively widespread resort, everything about this wedding was grand and striking. A good number of guests, who came over to attend the wedding festivities from overseas, were mesmerised with the Indian wedding traditions and rituals.
The mehendi function was beautified with warm colours, elegant flowers, furry and elegant dreamcatchers. Rajiv Avasthi and his band gave a soulful performance to match the celebratory mood. Celebrity musical duo, Salim-Sulaiman swayed the audience to their tunes at the sangeet ceremony.
The next morning, the guests thoroughly enjoyed at the lively pool party with the DJ playing energetic contemporary music with the percussionist adding to the enthusiasm.

Later in the day, the groom made a sophisticated baraat entry in a vintage car of the royal family of Jaipur. The bride entered adorning a traditionally embroidered floral chaddar, escorted by her brothers. The chants of spiritual music in the background and men carrying multilayered thals of aarti for the welcome made the environment more vibrant and zestful. The varmala was further dramatised by cold pyros and fireworks. What followed next were the pheras and other rituals in the mandap. Immersed in a world of fine craft and design, the mandap brought to life an imposing magic to the set up.

All and all, the wedding came across to be an eternal saga of love complemented by an impressive series of functions conceptualised and designed with utmost perfection by the trailblazer of the country’s wedding fraternity, Dr Jaydeep Mehta – Founder and M.D. True Events.
