Lotus Makeup India Fashion Week Glittered With Glamour On Day 2

The second-day extravaganza at the Lotus Makeup India Fashion week saw celebrities walking the ramp for Designers exuding elegance with their looks.  Karisma Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh, Swara Bhaskar and Karishma Tanna graced the event with awesome make-up and style.

Extensively using layers to depict women, Samant Chauhan added detailed embroidery in the jewel tones of pinks and burgundy on structured silhouettes of whites and ivories.

Karisma Kapoor turned showstopper for Designer Sanjukta Dutta adorning Mekhela Chador from her ‘Morom’ collection inspired by the natural flora of Assam. Black dominated the collection highlighted by beautiful motifs of red, silver and gold. The Actress looked stunning in the design exhibiting Indo-western vibe.

Actor Swara Bhaskar graced the ramp for Preeti Jain.

Designer Nitin Bal Chauhan displayed grim mood playing with monochromes inculcating angular lines paired with Victorian details of ruffles and pleats for a fresh visual juxtapose.

Presented by Nirakara Jewels, designer Suneet Varma’s show titled ‘Anaya’ was an ode to incredible embroideries and decorative arts of India. The lightweight feminine and flirtatious collection with dark midnight colours with silver accents and abstractly shaped mirrors and multicoloured embroidery was a fresh take on a contemporary bride.

Actress Rakul Preet Singh mesmerized everyone with her breathtaking beauty in a glittering costume by Julie Shah.

Pranav Misra and Shyama Shetty’s ‘Heumn’ fall collection is inspired by Kashmir as it uses contrasts to pay homage to the raw potential of the youth. Drawing its reference from the nineties sneakers culture, the collection is all about iconic street culture.
