On the days you need to escape from the sun’s wrath or need a break from all the hotness you’re feeling under your face mask, a spritz of a soothing facial spray is all you need. They are indeed our summer saviours. Time to put your DIY hats on cause we’re making some cool DIY face mists today!

Cucumber Mist

A DIY face mist that can instantly refresh you whilst keeping acne-causing bacteria at bay? We’ve got you. Make this face mist today and we bet you’ll never feel so refreshed!

The first step is to take your cucumber, peel it off and then mash it. Take an old (but clean) t-shirt, put your mashed cucumber in it and squeeze out the juice into the bowl. Next, add lemon juice from 1 lemon. Take a mint tea bag, put it in a mug full of hot water for about 5 minutes. Allow it to cool down and then pour it into the bowl. Mix everything well and pour your cool juice into an empty spray bottle. Use this refreshing DIY face mist as many times a day, especially to relieve your face from wearing a mask all day long.

Green tea is excellent for our skin as it’s instantly refreshing and is also loaded with anti-microbial properties. To enjoy all of its benefit on the go, you have to try this easy. Take a mug, fill it with boiling water and dip your green tea bag for about 5 minutes. Allow the green tea to cool down and then transfer it into an empty bottle. Add 4-5 tbsp of rosewater in it, mix it well and your DIY face mist is ready to be sprayed. Make sure you place it in your refrigerator to cool it down and use it every time you need to beat the heat! You can also add some mint leaves to the mix.

If you have exceptionally dry skin, especially during summers, then this soothing DIY face mist is just what you need to make today.

In a bowl, add orange blossom water, argan and lemon essential oil. Mix everything well and transfer the mix into the spray bottle. Shake the bottle well so that all the components mix well.
