Castor Oil

If you want long and luscious locks, castor oil should be your go-to remedy. The benefits of castor oil are not just limited to its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, it also boasts of a host of skin and hair benefits. The oil is widely used for hair growth and is revered all around the world for its benefits.

Mix equal quantities of castor and coconut oil and massage it into your scalp and hair. This mixture acts as a conditioner for your hair and helps get rid of dandruff along with inducing hair growth. You can also apply a little bit of castor oil to your eyebrows and lashes to thicken them.

Grapeseed Oil

Grapeseed is the best option for those who don’t like the greasiness that comes from an oil. This moisturises your skin and hair without making it creamy and shiny. The Vitamin E content in grapeseed is beneficial for the health of both the skin and hair.

Apply a drop or two of this in circular motions on your scalp area before you hit the sack. This will help in reducing roughness. You can also take four to five drops of it and massage onto your hair at night and wake up to a  silky soft hair. To smooth out rough and unruly ends, apply a few drops of it on the dry ends of your hair. This will leave your hair smooth without making it greasy.

Rosemary Oil

Rosemary essential hairoil is widely used in shampoos and lotions. This one promotes hair growth, slows down premature hair loss and greying of the hair. It also moisturises and tones the skin. Mix a few drops of rosemary with olive oil to darken and strengthen your hair. Rosemary also helps to get rid of a dry and flaky scalp. Regular massaging of the scalp with rosemary nourishes the scalp and removes dandruff.
