Akshaya Tritiya, one of the most momentous days for the Hindus in India, is an annual Hindu and Jain spring festival.
It is also called by other names such as Akha Teej or Akti and is devoted to worshipping the God of wealth Kuber and Goddess of Wealth Lakshmi. This year, it will be celebrated on May 10 2024. This festival falls on the third lunar day of the bright half of the Vaishakha month. “Akshaya” translates to eternal and “Tritiya” translates to third.
