In addition to producing made-to-order fixtures in standard configurations, their studio has a robust customization program in which we are able to manipulate the size, shape and design of a fixture to perfectly fit a space.

4. Vonnegut Kraft Nocturne Credenza

Vonnegut Kraft

Nocturne Credenza softens the acute rectilinear details of traditional case construction with a carefully composed series of undulations in the joinery. These bleached maple elements are punctuated by the bold, matte black top, pulls and drawer bottoms. The Nocturne Credenza can be customized to di‑erent dimensions, conjurations, materials and ­niches. Each piece is made by Vonnegut/Kraft in their Sunset Park studio.

The piece is produced by Ateliers Duchemin. Made out of the brass structure, and antic coloured glass and application of “grisaille”, the art piece is oven-baked according to traditional craftsmanship.
