Being positive is a quality that one must embrace at all times. During the time of COVID-19, it is more important than ever to be positive and also spread positivity. To keep one’s mental balance ought to be a priority amidst a time when one can easily slip into anxiety or depression. Inculcating positive habits and in general, learning to have a positive approach can help one get through this tough time. Hope and positivity are the two things that are going to assuage the fears and negative feelings. Maintaining a positive outlook during this time is imperative so as to keep your mental balance during this time.

Keeping a journal, gardening and other activities is something that has a positive effect on your mind. Regular meditation is also said to have a positive impact. To stay healthy and happy mind is not as easy as it sounds. Some days when you don’t feel like doing anything, you have to push yourself and stick to your positive routine. Listen to soul-soothing music, have a digital detox every once in a while and push yourself to do newer things. Doing new things can elevate the dopamine level in your body.

Take it slow. Start with a single activity and later you can take up other activities. But do not give up once you have started. Opting for a lot of things in a go can make you feel too overwhelmed and you might not be able to carry it through for more than a week. So the trick is to take up one thing and be consistent at it. Dance a little, move your body, listen to good music, play with your pets and have meals with your family to remain healthy and positive mind. It does not take much to be positive, just make little changes in your lifestyle every single day.
