From the anticipated futuristic drama in Iris van Herpen’s couture to the extravagant designs by the houses of Dior, Chanel, Valentino and the farewell show by Jean Paul Gaultier, the PFW was replete with some significant moments.

The famous Theatre Du Chatelet in Paris, on January 22, lit up with some of the most iconic runway stars as the original ‘bad boy’ of French Couture, Jean Paul Gaultier, bid goodbye to the runway. This iconic show marked the end of Jean-Paul's reign as the King of Haute Couture. After 50 years in the fashion industry, the renowned designer made his final bow.

Held in a massive tent on Place de la Concorde, the Dior Men Fall 2020 runway proved yet again that Kim Jones’ vision for Dior is carrying the label to the new heights of progressiveness.

Returning to Chanel’s home base — Grand Palais, Paris — the runway show for its Pre-Fall 2020 collection featured iconic camellia flower designs, woollen tweeds, and layered chains and necklaces.
