Flaky and dry skin is the most prevalent issue faced during winters. If you are a bride-to-be you must pamper your skin to get that glowy and dewy look on your wedding day. You must religiously follow these seven simple steps to get the dewy skin everyone craves for.

Use a cleanser that removes dirt and grime without stripping your skin of it’s natural oils. Dry-skinned beauties can opt for a cream-based cleanser, while those with oily-skin can opt for gel-based cleansers. Choose a cleanser that is best suited for your skin type and works well for your dry skin.

Use a mild exfoliator to get rid off all the dead skin cells. Don’t scrub your skin harshly if you have sensitive skin. Exfoliate twice or thrice a week to remove dry skin.

Treat your skin to a face pack. Yoghurt is your best friend if you have dry skin. Mix equal quantities of honey and yoghurt to make a paste. Apply it on your face and leave it for 15-20 minutes before washing it off. This super combo moisturises your dry skin leaving it soft and supple and what’s more it is good for oily-skinned beauties as well. Use as and when required.

Toning is a step oft ignored. But toner helps to remove any leftover dirt. A toner balances the skin’s natural pH alongwith closing the pores. Choose a toner that doesn’t contain alcohol as an ingredient as alcohol will help your dry skin.

Use a cream-based moisturiser that nourishes your skin. Choose a moisturiser that doesn’t contain parabens, silicones, alcohol etc. Moisturiser can also have added benefits like blemish-lightening or acne reduction depending on the product you choose.

You can also replace your moisturiser with an oil or add a few drops of oil to your moisturiser to make it more effective. Select an oil that nourishes your skin without making it greasy.

Don’t forget to pamper your body with body butter or a body lotion. Your body craves for moisture in winters, using a body lotion serves the purpose without making your skin oily.
